Marblehead is a seaside suburban community of 20,000 residents located 17 miles north of Boston.
Marblehead Harbor boasts one of the finest displays of sailing craft
anywhere. Over the years the harbor has been both the starting and
finishing port for numerous international races. Marblehead, appropriately, has earned the title as the "Yachting Capital of the World."
Preserved here on a rocky outcrop on the coast surrounded by the cold, blue Atlantic is one of the best collections of pre-revolutionary buildings in America.
